  • Heat tolerant and slow to bolt
  • Dark green leaves with yellow-white hearts

Outstanding flavor and heat tolerance make Buttercrunch Head Lettuce a home-gardening favorite. Its compact, 4-5 in. heads have dark green leaves with yellow-white hearts. They're the perfect size for use in salads and add vibrant color, flavor and texture to salads too. The leaves have a wonderfully mild, buttery, non-bitter taste. Heat tolerant and slow to bolt, Buttercrunch is a favorite for growing in spring gardens--but is good for fall gardens too. Like other lettuce types, Buttercrunch can be grown in Grow Tubs and containers. 65 DAYS
