Sweet, non-melting flesh has a flavor like no other! A release from the University of Arkansas, Amoore Sweet Nectarine is the first low-acid nectarine. Its firm, yellow flesh has a unique nectarine flavor with hints of mango. Amoore Sweet Nectarine trees are resistant to bacterial spot and produce high yields of red-skinned, clingstone fruits. 800 chill hours are required for a successful harvest. An early to mid-season producer, the fruits usually ripen in July and have good storage qualities. Self-pollinating. Zones 5-8.
