I used it to cover my tomato and pepper plants in early May. The plants were protected during cool weather and they are growing nicely. I purchased three Tunlcover plant protectors and cut one into 4 sections to cover individual plants. I also used one to cover an entire row of tomatoes. I let my friend who is new to gardening use the other one and she plans to purchase covers for her garde. - Wednesday, February 25, 2009Ms. Reviewed By: Gail Wailes (Greeley, CO) I tried the Tunlcover Plant Protector and was extremely disappointed. In Colorado there is much temperature variation from day to day and from day to night. I found that this type of "Double-layered polyethylene" was effective in cooler weather at night, but had to removed during the day because of heat accumulation which killed the seedlings. I would not recomment this type of "fabric" for frost protection. Read More Reviews |
