They just kept producing and I got a lot of them canned. - Wednesday, October 22, 2008topcrop greenbean Reviewed By: ed schuh (st. james, missouri) Top Crop is the best overall bean. You will have more than your share to eat, can or freeze and have plenty beans left over for your next years planting. The way I plant my beans is first I use a hoe and make a trench about two inches deep, then I take a handful of the precious beans and scatter them without measuring to make sure that there is plenty in my trench and cover them up by useing a rake. I don't compact the dirt over them because that would form a hard crust after you water them as I just let them settle naturally. Now, you will have plenty of fresh beans in a 25 foot row for all summer in which I normally sow 4 rolls and give them away. You will be amazed how many you would have if you plant 100 foot (4, 25 ft. long rows). Read More Reviews |
