Reviewed By: Debbie Smith (Pineville, WV) I bought two of these plants last spring. They produced a few blooms but no berries, which I expected in the first year. I followed the instructions, added thick layer of mulch to protect the shallow root system and had minimal growth. This year, they grew quickly and were loaded with white blooms. Now my plants are loaded with blueberries and I can't wait to pick them!! They are gorgeous! - Wednesday, March 31, 2010Hard to grow Reviewed By: Tracey (West Chester, PA) The day I received the plant I took it to Chester Springs nursey for advice and got everything it needed; 3 weeks later it was dead. Im not sure if was bad advice from the nursey or if the plant is just really hard to grow. Regardless, decent soil, sun light, hollytone and water should of worked longer then 3 weeks - Tuesday, June 05, 2007Just give it a pot that drains and plenty of fertilizer! Reviewed By: Shannon (Denver, Colorado) I got this plant two years ago. I put it into a pot with great drainage. I give it fertilizer every other week. This has produced tons of blueberries this year already. In the winter I bring the plant in doors, as I know in Colorado sometimes the temperature can fall below the -10. NOT often. But, on occassion enough for me to bring it in. I love this plant. It just needs a true green thumb to get this plant to really produce. Read More Reviews |
