The were very health but very small and some smaller than the 12 to 18 inches as stated. I call to let Gurney's know that I was unhappy with the plants because of the size of the plants. I could of bought some berry's plants locally for less than I paid for the plants at Gurney's. Gurney's was willing to ship me 8 more plants but said 4 would be ok instead. 2 days after planting in we had 85 degree temps and it was burning the new growth on the plants. We have had 4 days of cooler weather and the plants are starting to grow again with new growth. If we can keep the sun and heat to normal weather they might grow after all. Be very careful on these plants with hot weather they risk burning the new growth. I will post later to update progress with plants - Thursday, June 28, 2007Berries already !! Reviewed By: Bob (Northville, NY) We ordered the 18-24 " Semi-Dwarf Northland Blueberry in April, 2007. We also ordered the Garden Solutions All Natural Blueberry Food (sold by Gurney's). Here it is the end of June, 2007, and we have berries all over the bush !! Hard to believe- but we'll have lots of berries the first year !! We can't wait to try them (We'll let everyone know about the taste by, maybe, July). Very happy with the product !!! - Friday, April 13, 2007Healthy Plant! Reviewed By: Kathy (Los Alamos, New Mexico) Ok, it's a little early to be writing a review. I just got it a couple weeks ago. But I just had to say that it was a big healthy plant, and it got right to growing. It's covered in little shoots now. I'm not expecting it to fruit until next year at the earliest, but it's a great quality plant. Read More Reviews |
