Vibrant scarlet flowers burst into bloom above mint-scented foliage in June and July. Used in many herbal remedies. Great for naturalized gardens. Reaches a mature height of 24-30 in. and prefers full to part sun. Potted. Zones 4-9.
This plant attracts butterflies and hummingbirds.

HUMMERS LOVE IT

I have a large hummingbird garden and no matter what I planted I could never get hummers to come to the yard I planted this plant and boy oh boy do I have the hummers now. I LOVE IT! I would highly recommend the monarda to anyone wanting to see humminbirds.
