Reviewed By: Sandie (North Fort Myers, IL) If you have never experienced the most exotic provocative all encompassing smell of this plant, you haven't lived. I have missed it every moment and especially in the spring since I left South Elgin, IL. The smell makes you stop in your tracks to inhale every last wisp of the scent. I'm going to try to grow one down in Florida now and I only hope it's as magnificent as mine in Illinois. It also served as a wonderful shade tree to sit under and read a good book when it wasn't in bloom. And boy do we need shade in Florida. So it will serve a duo purpose if it takes. It took about 5 years for the whole tree to bloom and each year there were more than the year before and we never were amazed by its resilience. Good Luck and don't forget to stop and smell heaven.
