![]() Red Trumpet Vine
Easily Climbs 35 Feet without a Trellis
(3 customer reviews)Extremely colorful! The red Trumpet Vine clings to walls, climbs without support, covers areas as ground cover. Also does well in a free-standing position if staked for 2-3 years. Bright green fern-like foliage--forms a lacy backdrop for trumpet-shaped flowers all summer long. Potted Plants. Product Details

It can be invasive and its description ought to warn purchasers to locate it where they want it and to keep it trimmed back and clip or mow over the runners/shoots. Great plant. - Thursday, May 03, 2007Thank you to Janet Reviewed By: Heather (Crozet, VA) Thanks to Janet's excellent review of the Red Trumpet vine, I was better able to plan where to put such a plant, that "you can't get rid of." Thank you Janet. Your review was extremely helpful in knowing the proper place to let this beautiful vine "do it's thing." - Wednesday, April 18, 2007buyer beware Reviewed By: Janet (Lawrence , Ks) This vine is very evasive and once you start it you will never get rid of it! You can cut it down but it will then tunnel under ground and come up close by. It will climb on anything and everything. Read More Reviews |
