Best organic potato

This was the first potato variety I had tried in 15 years because I garden organically/I don't use any powders or sprays to kill insects. I was so pleased with the results I got. I had stopped raising potatoes because of Bugs and deer. The Purple Viking didn't get any bugs at all! The deer didn't nibble them either. I got a wonderful yield from the small order I placed with Gurney in a severe drought year in my area. I was amazed at how big the spuds were with a very short (in my Kennebec experience) growing season. I ordered from another company last year and didn't get the results that I got with Gurney's.. So I am back... I plan to order 2-3 times as many because I got a lot of potatoes out a small space.. and I didn't have ANY bug problems with the Purple vikings.. the deer don't even begin to munch on them... Plus my sister likes the color...

GREAT POTATO

My first time with potatos and of the 3 we tried this was the best I ever ate.They were easy to grow with no problems at all.We will be growing these again!
