Prized for its lovely blue-green needles, Colorado Blue Spruce makes an impression in the landscape. This low-maintenance evergreen grows 40-60 ft. tall with a pyramidal shape and a thick, lush cover of needles. It's often planted as a specimen tree but can also be planted as a windbreak or privacy screen. It grows about 1 foot a year and is drought tolerant, once established. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Colorado Blue Spruce grows best in full sun. Zones 2-7.
