If you’ve never tried Chinese chestnuts before, you are in for a treat! This superior selection is more vigorous, adaptable and productive than any other. Nuts are very large, meaty, crisp and sweet, with an exceptionally delicate flavor roasted or used in traditional stuffing. This handsome tree thrives in many types of soil, and grows 40-60 ft. at maturity, with dark glossy green leaves. Highly resistant to chestnut blight, sets 75-100 pounds of nuts per season. Plant two for pollination.
