venous orange size?
Reviewed By: Vicki Lin (Jenks, OK)
I ordered a venous orange, a lime, and a lemon from Gurney, a special package deal for 3 plants. They arrived in excellent condition, very well packed. I was a little disappointed in the size of the plants, but since the plants were in such good condition, I was happy, planted them and cared for them according to instructions. It has been 4 years now, maybe five (I am a senior citizen, memory is the first to go, you know), the plants are now little shrubs about 15" tall. This year the lime began to put forth some fragant blossoms, but the lemon and orange have not bloomed yet. What I am most curious about is the Venous orange. Gurney described the fruit as small tart and juicy. How small? I suggest Gurney describe the fruit size in inches for easy reference. If it is about the size of the kumquat I think I would be so thrilled. But it'd better hurry, because at my age, time is a luxury. I am eagerly waiting for my first taste of my venous orange.
