Luminous 6-ft., single-stemmed sunflowers rivet the gaze as they lift 4-in. golden-yellow blooms toward the sky. Stunningly accented by dark brown disks. Grand as a cut flower; pollen free. Sunny sells quickly at farmers’ markets. Does well in poor soil. 55 DAYS.

Comments: Special considerations: sow seeds outside after all danger of frost is passed where the plants are to grow. Seeds can be started inside in a sterile seed starting medium at 68-86 degrees F. Will do well in poor soil. Stake to support plants. Single stemmed, great for cut flowers with dark disc - great for markets. Pollen free.

Good Sunflower

These grew well but didn't quite reach the six feet I expected. However It was an unusually dry summer. I had about an 80% germination. I plan on buying more!

I ordered these last year, I was very pleased with the outcome. They didn't quite reach the height, but it was also dry in Ohio. Very beautiful flowers, perfectly symetrical. I would purchase them again! They made me smile.
