Comments: This asparagus is sweeter than common green asparagus. Unique mild nutty flavor when cooked. Harvest spears when 6-10 inches tall and leaf bracts at tips are still tightly closed. Feathery foliage is a good backdrop to other perennial plantings and lovely used as greenery in bouquets. Hardy to -30 degrees F.
