Versatile, attractive and low-maintenance. This 5- to 7-ft. beauty prefers full sun and tolerates clay-based soil. Constantly changing through the season, it is one of the first grasses to start growing in the spring with deep green, shiny foliage. Feathery, pink flower heads appear in May, then change from creamy white to golden tan as the seedheads mature. Makes a wonderful backdrop, hedge, or specimen planting. Great in containers and floral arrangements.
