One of the most versatile, attractive and low-maintenance grasses you’ll ever find. This 5- to 7- ft. beauty prefers full sun and tolerates clay-based soil. Constantly changing though the season, it is one of the first grasses to start growing in the spring with deep green shiny foliage. Loose feathery pink flower heads appear in May and then change from creamy white to golden tan as the seedheads mature. ‘Karl’ makes a wonderful backdrop, hedge, or specimen planting and is also beautiful for containers and floral arrangements. Potted. Zones 4-7.

One of the hardiest grasses available. Very adaptable to conditions. Not real woody like other grasses can be. Easily placed narrow form.
