Light up your landscape with this prolific bearer of sunny yellow 3-in. flowers. Showy double blooms appear nonstop from midsummer until frost on sturdy 3- to 4-ft. plants that need no staking. Tolerates poor soil; drought resistant and easy to grow. Best planted in full sun.

Comments: Plants should be divided in spring or fall every 3-5 years. Remove flowers as they fade to prolong bloom time. Plants have a better habit if grown in a sheltered site. Cut back to ground in late fall/winter. Mulch in summer. Good for south. Developed from eastern North American wildflower. Also called Summer Sun Oxeye. Good for cut flowers and in sunny borders. Plant with: Dwarf Gaillardia (complementary), Campanula (complementary), Daisies (bloom earlier), Orange Glory Flower (complementary)

This is a great plant. I have them in a large container off our deck. It blooms from early spring until after frost. This year I entered the flowers at local fair with bachelor buttons,Won Judges Choice! They also hold their color for drying. Easy and cheerful!
