Plump and good
Reviewed By: Deniese (Lucas, Iowa)
We planted three trees. Pixie Crunch, Sundance and Red luscious. The sundance tree is the biggest and had alot of apples after three years. We lost alot to weather and deer this year, but what was left was huge with very little problems. The flesh is nice and very crisp. Very little browning when cut up. It has a tart taste and not as sweet as the red luscious tree. Overall very pleased in its size, low maintenance and size of the apples. It is not my favorite for taste, but compares to a more tart apple like granny smith so should be good for pies and cooking.

PRI Disease Resistance
Reviewed By: Gonzo (Coeur D Alene, ID)
Do your self a favor and buy a PRI tree and grow the way your forefathers did no chemicals needed. This is a fast growing and easy to maintain tree, cream colored flesh, very firm, very crisp and breaking flesh; moderately to sprightly sub-acid, mellowing in refrigerated storage; spicy with a tad original deferent tease to it, full, rich flavor; juicy. Very good quality. Retains flesh texture and quality for five months or more in refrigerated storage. Fruit hangs on the tree until over ripe. Moderate to heavy cropping tends to grow branches to upright so there is some branch training required however allover a pleasant tree to work with.
