We ordered 100 2 year plants and nearly all are doing well now. I was pleased with how robust the roots were and their condition. We received Mary Washington. I have read on agriculture sites this variety isn't recommended anymore as more productive varieties are now available as Jersy Knight. We still feel we got a good buy, but this spring will purchase JK for another planting. Home grown asparagus ROCKS! DO IT.

Ordered the 2 yr old asparagus plants and only got two stalks this season. I let them go to seed and fern out and hope that next year will be better.

Ordered the big 1 2 year old plants. Got Martha Washington variety, roots are large and already sprouting...can hardly wait to taste my 1st home grown asparagus!!!
