I ended up with more than a couple nearly black Zuchini, a nice surprise I must say. Be warned though they aren't overly tolerant. - Saturday, March 29, 2008Lots of squash! Reviewed By: Christine (Brookfield, IL) We also had good results with this seed mix - lots of squash in a variety of colors throughout the summer and well into fall. I'll probably try growing them up a trellis this year, as we also had some powdery mildew issues after the heavy August rains - the plants grew so large that they got a bit overcrowded in my plot. - Thursday, November 20, 2008Squash Reviewed By: MAULCIE (SHAMROCK, TEXAS) We have never had squash make as well as this yellow squash and we had the yellow zechina squash and its wonderfull too. I do not see it listed now and would like some more of it. My family want eat the green but they did not know they were eating zuchina all summer. Our vines of both squash lasted right up to frost making. Read More Reviews |
