Jan Bos Hyacinth
Brilliant Jewel-Tone Blooms with Fabulous Fragrace!
(0 customer reviews)
One of the most memorable springtime flowers, hyacinths produce big, upright blooms on 8-10-inch tall stems in early to mid-spring. The Jan Bos Hyacinth is so fragrant-a single stem can perfume an entire room! For the most impressive display, plant bulbs in groups in full sun or partial shade. Carefree plants return year after year.
15-16 cm bulbs.

| Comments: Water well after planting. Mix generous amounts of peat moss, compost, or well-rotted manure into the soil to improve drainage. Remove faded flowers but leave the foliage intact until it dies back naturally. Use a 5-10-5 fertilizer at planting and in the spring. If spring weather is unusually warm, hyacinths may bloom on short stems. Will be fine in future years when the weather is normal. Excellent for cut flowers and for forcing indoors. Contains oxalic acid naturally. Bulbs may be toxic if ingested and may cause dermatitis if handled.
