Hybrid Tea Roses
Reviewed By: Chandra (Memphis, Tennessee)
I DO NOT have a green thumb by any means, but thought I'd take a chance and plant roses for cutting. After reading other reviews, I decided on the hybrid tea roses. I must admit I was a little disappoint with the look of the bareroot roses when they arrived, but I planted them following the directions provided. After 3 days, one bush began to sprout leaves. I was quite impressed with that one, but the other showed no signs of life. After about 10 dayss, the other began sprouting leaves. I was elated. Before I knew it, I saw rose buds. This morning while out enjoying the morning sun, I noticed my buds had begun to open. I cut my first vase full of roses today. The second bush has buds too so I am looking forward to having roses for the remainder of the growing season. My husband stated that the roses are so perfect he thought they were fake. The only thing I regret not is that I didn't buy more. Oh, by the way, the time that elapse from planting to cut roses was less than a month. Thanks Gurney!
