Impressive in the Garden
(3 customer reviews)Intense, bright orange flowers up to 3 inches across cover the plants all season long! Grows 28-30 inches tall, needs no staking. Heat and drought tolerant. Fiesta Del Sol Tithonia is a favorite of hummingbirds and butterflies especially the beautiful swallowtail. (Adds magic to the garden experience!) Prefers full sun. Direct sow or start indoors before last frost. Blooms midsummer to fall. Approx. 50 seeds per pkt. Annual flowers are easy to grow, bloom over a long period and allow you to enjoy a whole new look every year. Mass large numbers of them in beds and borders for a stunning color display, or tuck smaller numbers of them into perennial planting that need a little extra pizzazz. Product Details

Reviewed By: Bunny (Ellendale, MN) I was happy to see how easy this flower was to grow, and how many seeds it took. The dainty stems support a delicate bright bloom, with a backdrop of deep green, that brightens up the whole area. I am hoping it will keep flowering into fall like its larger relative the Mexican Sunflower. - Wednesday, November 28, 2007Mexican Sunflower, Reviewed By: Fred Hancock (East Palestine, Ohio) Planted the seeds and flowers grew to over 6 feet tall was the talk of the neighborhood , was beautiful all summer and fall. - Sunday, August 30, 2009Beautiful flower. Reviewed By: Chris Bartal (Mt. Vernon, OH) The flowers are very attractive and cheerful, similar in bloom to a daisy. They were a little slow to take off, and just began blooming near the end of August despite being in full sun and having plenty of water. The plants more than make up for the long wait with dark green foliage that sets off the blooms. Read More Reviews |
