Cleveland Ornamental Pear Flowering Tree
Cleveland Ornamental Pear Flowering Tree
Improved Bradford Type

  (2 customer reviews)

Gorgeous from spring through fall! Brilliant snowy-white blooms are followed by shiny, dark green foliage during the summer. In fall, leaves turn a glossy mahogany-red--breathtaking! This improved selection has stronger limb crotches than the original Bradford, so it is less prone to ice damage. Birds love the fruit! Grows to about 20 feet tall, 15 feet wide.

Bareroot. Zones 4-7.

Sucks

The worst tree in the world because it is not hardy, snapped in half in the first storm. Awful tree. Definitely not a hard wood tree.

Overpriced stick
Reviewed By: Daniel (Tawas City , Michigan)
Ordered the "4-5 ft" version for $50 each, received a stick barely 4 ft tall with absolutely no branches. Found the identical plant at Home Depot except it was 6-8 ft tall, well branched, with a 2" diameter trunk. Unfortunately my "sticks" will probably take 4-5 years to reach that height, not to mention be able to blossom.
