Improved Bradford Type
(4 customer reviews)Gorgeous from spring through fall! Brilliant snowy-white blooms are followed by shiny, dark green foliage during the summer. In fall, leaves turn a glossy mahogany-red--breathtaking! This improved selection has stronger limb crotches than the original Bradford, so it is less prone to ice damage. Birds love the fruit! Grows to about 20 feet tall, 15 feet wide. Bareroot. Zones 4-7. Product Details

Realizing how important it is to have the soil prepared..Where I had to plant these was like a rock. I was very concerned if they would live. To my surprise they done very well. Grew into strong trees. I did have 1 with thorns. I don't know what that was about. - Tuesday, December 30, 2008Great Tree Reviewed By: Michael (Lehi, Utah) Of all the trees I have planted in my yard, only the bare root end up being hardy. These trees have grown well for the past 2 years and are strong and beautiful. I will add another to my yard this spring! - Friday, May 25, 2007Sucks Reviewed By: Matthew Traverso (Frederick, Maryland) The worst tree in the world because it is not hardy, snapped in half in the first storm. Awful tree. Definitely not a hard wood tree. Read More Reviews |
