Russian Olive Tree
Creates a Dense Screen!

  (13 customer reviews)

Gray foliage creates a dense screen 10-20 ft. tall. Fragrant yellow springtime flowers attract beneficial insects. The Russian Olive Tree is extremely hardy-resists pests and disease. Drought-tolerant.

Windbreakers protect farm buildings, feed lots and orchards from heave snows and icy winds. They prevent erosions of valuable topsoil, reduce heating costs, cut down on snow removal, shelter livestock and provide a winter wildlife refuge.

Bareroot. Zones 2-7.

Noxious Weed In Wyoming
Reviewed By: Shelly Neff (Cody, Wyoming)
These are really nice trees to grow as a well maintaned tree but they grow so fast and spread like wild fire that Wyoming has declared them a Noxious weed by the weed and Pest. I personally like them for a specimen tree but will now allow to grow as a wild tree. Thwy smell very sweet when they bloom. They can be dangerous if you have small kids they have huge thorns that can punture a truck tire, I know from experience. These are not suited for rural growing conditions these are best left for in town, Bird love them, farmers DO NOT!

Russian Olive
Reviewed By: Mary (Amarillo, TX)
It is such a relief to plant a tree that will grow and survive in a place where the blistering sun and harsh, constant wind makes it difficult for anything to survive. Thank you for continuing to carry this item.
