Heat, Drought Resistant
(6 customer reviews)Double flowers of the Moss Rose Portulaca are red, pink, yellow, orange and white. 5 in. tall. Direct sow after last frost or start indoors before last frost. Blooms from summer to early fall. Approx. 100 seeds per pkt. Annual flowers are easy to grow, bloom over a long period and allow you to enjoy a whole new look every year. Mass large numbers of them in beds and borders for a stunning color display, or tuck smaller numbers of them into perennial planting that need a little extra pizzazz. Product Details

Unlike many flowers that are dead when you return to visit(no pun intended,) These thrive in hot, dry soils. They are also very attractive to the eye. - Monday, July 16, 2007Easy to grow and maintain Reviewed By: Matt Johnson (frederick, Maryland) I love these flowers. Very easy to grow and they cover space well. - Tuesday, November 27, 2007What a surprise! Reviewed By: Kristi (Nashua, NH) This is a lovely little groundcover. It really does thrive in hot, dry place, or anywhere really. I was so surprised to see this little lovely come up the following spring to flower again in Zone 5! Read More Reviews |
