Reviewed By: Joseph F. Kopeck (Parkville, MD) Over the years my wife and I have started many different varities of tomato seed but nothing can compare to the Beefmaster.Last year we installed extra raised bed for more tomatoes in a highly sunny area on our grounds and the crop of Beefmaster tomatoes that was produced was awlsome. The fruit itself can grow as large as softballs (with no cracks like other beefsteak types). This year I bought a set of 6'X 24'' Texas tomato cages to hold up these monsters as last year the weight of the fruit bent my ice cream cone cages in half!On Mother's Day they will come out of the cold frame and be planted.
