We have lots of deer and they ate all of the lower flowers BUT, they still grew tall with the upper flowers, looked like popsicles! My kids loved them, buying again this year at my son's request. - Monday, June 30, 2008I HAVE A NEW FOUND RESPECT FOR SUNFLOWERS! Reviewed By: Amanda (Elizabeth City, NC) I dont know where it came from but I have one of these growing in my garden this year and it has stole the show! Complete strangers driving by, stop and ask to look at it! It is absolutely mezmerizing! You never get tired of watching it grow! My kids have fell in love with it! Everyday they wake up they run outside to see how much bigger it is and how many new buds are on it. Ours is about 50-60 days old right now and has 33 buds on it!! EVERYONE LOVES THIS PLANT! Anyone can grow these! - Wednesday, August 01, 2007Very tall! Reviewed By: AA (Philadelphia, PA) If you want tall sunflowers, these are the one's to get. The tallest one I planted grew to 10 feet. I started these off in a small greenhouse using peat and they sprouted extremely fast. I highly recommend them. Read More Reviews |
