It’s no wonder sunflowers are so easy to grow- these magnificent flowers are American natives. Use smaller types for cutting and edging, taller ones fro screens. At the end of the season, watch for goldfinches, who love the seed!

Wow, these Lemon Queens are great!! The row I planted in full sun has grown to an impressive height of 9 feet. Not only are they almost double the advertised height, they are loaded with 30-40 beautiful 5-7 inch flowers. The bees love them and are happy to help pollinate the rest of the garden. I can't wait to see the variety of birds they bring to the garden. A must have!
