Big Yields of Bitter-Free Fruit
(3 customer reviews)Prolific and early! Early Spring Burpless Hybrid Slicing Cucumbers have creamy-spined dark green fruits, 12-15 inches long. Bright white flesh is extra crisp and mild. 52 DAYS. Slicing cucumbers grow long and smooth; picklers are blockier and faster to produce. Both can be packed into jars, however, when harvested at a small size. Product Details

Granted we have had a record hot summer but I have faithfully watered. This is the first time that we have had burpless cucmbers that turned bitter like these have. - Monday, August 06, 2007Bitter Cukes Reviewed By: Dwaine Kamnetz (Anoka, MN) Early Spring, all Cukes turned out bitter. The skin is absolutely inedible and now with hot weather, the flesh is bitter too. I will never buy these again! - Tuesday, January 22, 2008Bitter Cukes Reviewed By: CJ Warren (Goffstown, New Hampshire) Getting ready to purchase my seeds for this year and saw the comments regarding the burp less cukes.. I thought I had done something wrong. They were horrible, with hard bitter skin. I couldn't believe it, they are usually delicious. I have planting these for a number of years now. Not sure if i should try them again or not.. Read More Reviews |
