Oh i also used bicep for weed control when corn first ermerged. So weed free was a success.Second crop was honey and pearl. If you buy this corn do yourself a fav with any corn really you have to make sure you have the soil ready for a good crop.Small ears or small stalks means lame soil.12-12-12 is a good starter but dont be afaid to use something highter right at planting. - Monday, January 14, 2008Good stuff! Reviewed By: Stacy (Huntington, IN) Corn was easy to grow and probably the best tasting corn I've had. I did lose about a dozen or so ears to what my neighbor called corn blight. Don't know if that was a genetic thing or just chance that my corn got it. I would have given it a five otherwise. I will be growing it again this year. - Monday, October 22, 2007Disappointed Reviewed By: Julie & Rick (Merrill , MI) Only about 50% of the seed germinated during two different plantings. Each stalk produced only one small (5") ear of corn. Not much flavor, either. Will not purchase again. Will try another variety. Read More Reviews |
