Blue Lake Pole Beans
Our Very Best Canner

  (2 customer reviews)

Sets pods from the base to the very top of the vine--plenty for canning! Straight, smooth 6-inch pods are crisp and stringless at all stages, never limp. Blue Lake Pole Beans cook up tender, with full-bodied Blue Lake flavor. 63 DAYS.

Beans are one of your best bets for yield and versatility. A 15- foot row of pole beans will produce about 12 pounds of beans over a 6 to 8 week period. Grows green snap, wax and lima beans for fresh eating, freezing and canning.

I have tried other beans, and will never again buy anything but blue lake pole beans for canning.

Lots of Beans!
Reviewed By: Kris (Minnetonka, MN)
Despite the efforts of Japanese Beetles, these beans did very well. I planted them so they would climb the garden fence, and they are still producing lots of beans in September. I made green bean pickles, froze them, and ate them right off the vine. Delicious, not stringy, and versatile.
