Shiny, dark evergreen foliage provides the backdrop for fragrant, white flowers followed by small, juicy, tart oranges. Plant in a container to bring inside during the winter months.

Comments: Four hours or more of direct sunlight from a south window. Let plant approach dryness before watering. Average indoor humidity levels. Day temperature 65-70 degrees F; night temperature 50-55 degrees F. Use an acid-balanced fertilizer throughout the year and add trace elements in the spring. Leaves will drop if soil is too wet or too dry. High pH or high soluble salts can cause leaf yellowing. Will not bloom if light is too low. May need to hand pollinate for better fruit production. GROW LIGHTS OR FLORESCENTS MAY ALSO BE HELPFUL. WHEN MOVING OUTSIDE IN LATE SPRING, MOVE GRADUALLY AND WATCH FOR SCORCHING. FERTILIZING: WHEN PLANTS ARE ACTIVELY GROWING, GIVE THEM A HIGH POTASH (TOMATO TYPE) FERTILIZER TWICE A MONTH. DON'T FEED IN COOL, LOW LIGHT WINTER RESTING PERIOD. TOP DRESS IN THE SPRING WITH SOME NEW TOP SOIL OR REPOT IN A LARGER POT WHILE ANY POT WILL DO - PREFER A CLAY POT. NOT UNUSUAL TO DROP FRUIT AS THEY WILL TYPICALLY SET MORE FRUIT THAN THEY CAN SUPPORT.

This is a great plant outside or as a patio plant. It came to me about 4 inches tall with maybe 6 leaves and now it's 17 inches with tons of leaves. I left it outside last summer and brought it in for the winter and it's still growing. NO flowers or fruit yet but I only had for 10 months. I gonna buy another one :)
