Produces a glorious crop of red-tinted winged seeds early in the spring. The Scarlet Maple leafs out emerald green, turn's fiery red orange in fall. Grows 50-60 feet tall with an unusually symmetrical rounded head. Resistant to wind damage.

Not Yet Producing

I planted the scarlet maple over a month ago. Have fertilized on a couple occasions. The scarlet maple has yet to produce even a tiny leaf. Its still a stick. I'm hoping soon to see some results. Will let you know if and when it decides to do something. Maybe my rating on this tree will go up then.

I bought this tree about a month ago and so far it hasn't even sprouted a green leaf, its still a stick. I'm hoping soon it will produce with beautiful results, when it does produce a green leaf I will rate this higher.
