It ate my garage! (in a good way)

I planted a set 7 (?) years ago. I haven't gotten any fruit yet - largely because the male plant keeps flowering a week or so before the female - but the foliage is beautiful. Other than frequent pruning (the things grow like crazy), I've pretty much ignored them. Yet despite hot summers, and some very snowy and cold winters, they're thriving. If I didn't keep trimming them back, they really would cover the gargage (and a couple of trees) in no time.
