That is all healed now. And our bull attacked the tree snapping the main top out. That has healed now also. I wish I could show you the picture of it today. It looks great. Loaded with blooms. Gurneys really has tough apple trees. We are so very pleased. Thank you, Lori - Sunday, March 04, 2007gurney's fruit trees Reviewed By: mike (pittsburgh, pa) your fruit trees are all excellent. they all caught root and i picked my first apples the third year. the trees accepted the climate zone just as recommended. i will be putting more trees in this spring. thankyou for standing behind your products. - Monday, January 15, 2007Granny Smith Reviewed By: Steve (CDA, ID) It’s the apple that tart flavor lovers crave. This is why it’s often used in Carmel apples to give that sweet/sour combo. I've never had it fresh and since they stay fresh in cold storage forever, that’s why they’re in stores everywhere. So that Granny Smith you get on sale at your grocery store may be over a year old from thousands miles away, "New Zealand” most often. Compact but spreading shape. Resists cedar apple rust. I'm not a big fan of sour apples so that is why I only give it a 3 but it may be higher if I had it fresh. However if you love sour apples, then look no further! Read More Reviews |
