Liberty Apple Tree
Liberty Apple Tree
The First True Low-Spray Apple

  (3 customer reviews)

Fabulous for fresh eating, juice and sauce, this crunchy, mildly tart Liberty Apple is much like an easy-to-grow version of McIntosh. Resists scab, fire blight and cedar apple rust-the name actually refers to the breeder's quest to free the grower from endless spraying! Ripens early Oct.

Now you can grow delicious, full-size apples no matter how small your garden! Imagine picking 1/2 bushel or more apples from each of your Li’l-BIG trees just a few years after planting them in the ground! If you have limited space or simply want a little tree with big benefits,
Li'l-BIG is for you. Reaching 6 ft. tall at the most and producing half a bushel of fruit, Li'l-BIG are a snap to spray, prune and harvest compared to standard size trees.

Excellent disease resistance
Reviewed By: Todd (Raymond, NE)
Cedar apple rust is a big concern in my area, as there are many cedar trees around here. I have ten different varieties of apple trees and Liberty is one of three that I have that shows excellent resistance to cedar apple rust. The flavor is really good, also.

Great all around apple it has many good growing habits that many don't. It stores well, its a strong grower and it teast great off the tree. ITs better then 80% of the apple types out there. I wish all my apple tree could grow this strong.
