Red Set Onion Sets are eye-catching purplish-red skin covers firm, white flesh with a delectable crunch. At its tastiest raw--terrific for topping sandwiches and slicing into salads.

For flavorful bulbs in a hurry, start with onion plants. You’ll harvest onion bulbs just 3 ˝ months after planting.

Tip: ‘Long-day onions’, better suited to the North, need 13+ hours of daylight for best development, while ‘short-day varieties’ need less and thrive in regions with a mild winter climate.

I have to say, these thing grow like weeds. I have not harvested them yet, but the plants grew fast and are looking good. I think the reds will be perfect around end of June or middle or July. Probaby 75 of 80 grew, pretty good!
