Bulbs are flattened & have pale yellow skin. Crisp, yellowish-white flesh. Very pungent with mature. Onion sets are quick. Producing mild tasting green onions in 2-4 week. Cold hardy & disease tolerant. Sets come up under almost all types of conditions. If delayed planting occurs, store in a cool, dry place not subject to freezing. Water frequently as onions are shallow rooted. Harvest: Mature onions are when the tops turn brown & look pinches at the point where they connect with the bulb. To store: Cut off the stem about 1 inch above the bulb. Store bulbs in a cool, dark and dry place in shallow open trays. Onion sets are not available in ID.
