Elegant landscape feature produces 200
5- to 6-in. blooms over a two-month flowering
period! Large, sweetly fragrant, semi
to fully double flowers perfume the air from
late spring to late summer.
A unique addition to any landscape, tree
peonies will reach 3-5 ft. in 5 to 8 years, and
can live to be 100 years old! Their growth
habit resembles that of a true shrub or small
flowering tree, with woody stems that do not
die back in the winter. With few natural pests
or diseases, makes a superb choice for planting
along property lines, as a specimen planting,
or as a lovely accent in larger beds. Produces
an abundance of satiny blossoms year
after year. Plant in full sun to partial shade
and well-drained soil. Bareroot.

MULCH IN FALL AFTER GROUND FREEZES WITH MANURE, LEAFMOLD OR COMPOST. PLANTS MAY DIE BACK FOR FIRST 1-3 SEASONS-REMAINS WOODY THEREAFTER. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR HOT ZONES AS THEY NEED A DORMANT PERIOD.
