Need patience
Reviewed By: Michael Woler (Newtown, PA)
One needs patience after planting any asparagus. No matter what the literature says, some of the roots will take up to a month to send up the first shoots after planting. Resist the urge to replant the first year, wait until the second to replace any crowns that don't produce sprouts. I usually get about 90% of my crowns productive.

poor yield

Very unhappy, as only about a quarter of the plants came up. I am re-ordering, hoping for the best.
