It could have been because I did not water them daily as I should have but I expected more. These were planted in a location that had partial shade which could have caused them to fail also. - Monday, October 01, 2007Heat tolerant Reviewed By: Deb (Norfolk, VA) I ordered these from Gurney's this spring. My front yard is very hot & sunny and they took it like champs. Long lasting bloom (Oct 1 and they are just now beginning to fade). They don't need much watering and do almost as well in partial shade. Highly recommended if you need a reliable heat and dought tolerant plant. - Thursday, February 21, 2008Fabulous! Reviewed By: Gretchen (Corning, NY) I ordered three of these from Gurney's last spring, and three from another company. The three from Gurney's grew about two feet over the summer and bloomed continuously (the bees love them). The three from the 'other' company all died. Also, the ones from Gurney's were much larger when they first arrived. Read More Reviews |
