The Virginia Juniper grows to 30 feet, but is best as a hedge at 5 feet. Evergreen foliage turns a lustrous shade of purple in fall. Withstands drought, acid or alkaline soils.
9- to 12-inch plants.

Hedges divide a yard into separate spaces for outdoor entertaining, for gardening and for setting off a stretch of lawn. They are far more attractive then fencing and much less expensive.

Not available in CA.

Bareroot.

Zones: 2-9.

Same issue
Reviewed By: M.K. (Buffalo, NY)
Many of the shrubs arrive with little to no greenery. This is not a good sign for an evergreen. I am on my second re-shipment. Only get 2 to 3 to survive per attempt. Not very effective when you are trying to develop a hedge wall/screen as plants are in different stages of maturity. Hopefully this next shipment grows and catches up to finish the wall. Looks pretty sad at the moment with 4-1 year olds, 7-2 year olds and 4 holes. The 2 year old plants are doing well but this is alot of work. Hope I see a finished product before my time is up.

Travis, I had the same issue with small brown junipers arriving. Several didn't thrive, but as with the wonderful gaurantee from Gurneys, they sent complete replacement at no charge for all of them and the new ones are larger, very green and vibrant. Replacement was very quick. Excellent customer service.

I ordered from Gurneys and Henry Fields actually recieved these trees from HF. These trees scare me they look really brown. I did the 15 order discount and about 8 of them I dont think will make it they are very brown and very very thin
