elm growth

We bought this tree to replace live oaks we lost to the beetle. We planted it in March 2007 and took a picture to see how true the 10 feet a year was. It grew over 10 feet the first year! We took another picture and can't believe the growth. A friend who is a landscaper was even impressed and wanted to know where to get these trees. I think that the tree will be in our landscape for years to come....

I bought a few of these about seven years ago and they are awesome! within three years they were providing shade for my house. The leafs are dense and it grows incredibly fast. I just moved and I'm planning on buying more to use around the perimeter of my acre yard.
