All-Time Customer Favorite
(2 customer reviews)The Sugar Maple is a long-lived hardwood which casts cool shade in spring and summer and is famous for its rich crimson-and-gold fall foliage. Grows 60-75 feet tall with a symmetrical shape. It's the one tapped for sap to process into maple syrup. Does sweet things for the look of your yard, too! Gurney’s trees are shipped as dormant bareroot stock that leafs out into handsome, healthy specimens that do our lawn and landscape proud. Bareroot. Zones 3-8. Product Details

Those woods were cut down to build houses. Today the tree is gorgeous! It is a huge 30+ year old tree that has wonderful, bright green leaves in the spring, perfect rich green in the summer, and nothing tops the reds, oranges and yellows this tree puts out in the fall. The neighborhood is lucky to have it! It makes the best leaf piles too for jumping, since they are huge leaves! The shape of the tree is so full with a strong trunk and branches. I have moved since and look for sugar maples around here in the fall just to look at. I wish I had a yard to plant one!!!! If you have a yard, plant one for the rest of us to see!!! Thanks! - Monday, April 23, 2007BEAUTIFUL Reviewed By: Gwen (Yates Center, Kansas) This tree is the most beautiful tree that there is in the fall, nothing compares to it.
