My dead branches have become trees
Reviewed By: Gary Toomey (Athens, Alabama)
I received my trees and I swear it looked like a couple of dead branches. They came in Febuary when the weather was 65 degrees. Gotta love Alabamas the next day it was in the mid twentys and we had a week long cold snaps. After that fine weather and a hard freeze. I covered them with plastic and kept throwing the water to them. My three German Shepherds looked at me like I was crazy watering dead twigs. Well it's May and one tree is about four feet tall and the other is five feet tall. Both are covered with new branches and leaves. Thank you Gurney's for these trees. I expect many good harvests.

Shipping date disaster
Reviewed By: Mazewalker (Evans, Colorado)
In general, I certainly appreciate Gurneys. However, as proven by my Hazelnut trees, they all to often really goof on their shipping dates. Even by their own posted shipping schedule they shipped my plants at the wrong time. Guess what? They died. But, Gurneys is great as replacing dead plants. They just can't replace the hastle of planting and replanting. Nonetheless, I'll keep using Gurneys. Their pricing, quality, and guarantee to replace are unbeatable.
