I got 50+ nuts last fall. sadly, I have sold my house and have to start over, hope the next one I buy is just as good. - Friday, May 23, 2008english walnut tree Reviewed By: T. Eshbach (greenacres, washington) I bought 1 of these trees 15 years ago. I moved from the house where it was planted. I could not find anyone to move the tree with me. I was very disapointed. From such a little tree it had grown into a beautiful 10 foot high & very symetrical tree. The tree was just beginning to produce nuts. It brought back many memories of my childhood where we had such a tree over 50 feet in diameter and height. Am going to try again! Thank you - Wednesday, May 21, 2008walnut blight Reviewed By: Alex (Norwood, MA) I planted this walnut last year and first year I noticed leaves had black crunchy edges. It survived, but I suspect that's walnut blight. So I would recommend to have some preventive treatment if you plant it. This spring I have the same problem. Read More Reviews |
