![]() Red Twig Dogwood Shrub
Noted for Its Bright Red Bark
(7 customer reviews)A landscape accent for every season! Red Twig Dogwood Shrub starts spring with creamy ivory flowers, summer with red-tinted foliage and, finally, sports bright red bark in winter. Grows 5-8 feet tall. Flowering shrubs are bargains in beauty. They produce a profusion of flowers and foliage- a feast for your senses- and seem equally attractive to birds, butterflies and hummingbirds. Even when they’re not in bloom, many add interest to the landscape. Shrubs grow fast, last nearly forever and require a minimum care. Bareroot. Zones: 3-8. Product Details

It came with lots of root and hearty stems. About 18 inches. Soil is the key here in Texas. I had to amend mine with three types. Clay, organic, and peat moss all combined. The tree loves it and already has an inch of growth after a week. Fertilizer helped also. - Monday, May 18, 2009Already growing Reviewed By: Melissa (Clyde, OH) Came to us as a twig bush. Already growing some green foliage and it just got planted 3 weeks ago! - Thursday, December 20, 2007Red Twig Reviewed By: Brian (Colorado Springs, Co) I love these plants. Right now, mine are surrounded by a couple of inches of snow. They really stand out. Plan to add more in the Spring. I did lose one plant because of poor drainage. They don't like soaking in water!
