Firm, fully ripe red grapes have a pleasant tang, no tough skins. Flavor is excellent--this variety is hard to beat for fresh use. Produces 35-40 clusters of fruit per vine in late August, early September. Tolerates sub-zero temperatures. No. 1, 1-year vines.
Zones: 4-8.
Self-pollinating and vigorous, grapevines have been known to produce excellent crops for well over 30 years.
