Concord Grape
Concord Grape
America's Favorite Grape

  (4 customer reviews)

Concord Grapes are the one folks think of for jam. Skins slip from the dark purple fruits, so it’s a snap to make wine--just let the juice ferment. Bears in late September. Pick a bit earlier for preserves. No. 1, 1-year vines.

Self-pollinating and vigorous, grapevines have been known to produce excellent crops for well over 30 years.

Zones: 4-8.

Grapes are not available in CA, ID, OR, WA.

The very best grapes!
Reviewed By: Clark (ks, Kansas)
My Parents grew these grapes when I was a kid and they thrived. I'm growing the seedless variety now and they are thriving. A concord just can't be beat when it it comes to taste, vigor, and disease resistance. Gurneys was my parents favorite company and they are still my favorite today. Keep up the good work!

Excellent plants
Reviewed By: Mark Cheshire (Swanton, MD)
Last spring I planted six of these and they tried to produce the first year, but our deer took care of it. Vines are already taking off again this spring. Very impressed with the plants and most impressed with Gurney's in general. Customer satisfaction is very much still alive in Gurney's. Kudos.

My Dad planted Concord Grapes in 1935 and 72 years later, they are still going strong, producing loads of grapes for jelly & jam.
